Wilberforce is one of the communities that started the FANT program in Sierra Leone in 2012. the community was founded in 1810 to provide accommodation for the Freed slaves and the Re-captives at the end of the slave trade by a famous Humanitarian police officer, William Wilberforce, a giant of anti slave trade movement. It was formerly known as Cabenda. It is the home to the largest and main barracks of the Sierra Leone military.

However, there are several deprived and under privileged people living in this community and high rate of homeless children. FANT has hired the services of Mamadu Bah as the Chairman of the Football organization, Kelly Mansaray as the Head coach and Isha  Bangura as the Kids playing coach.
